The trails are surrounded by vegetation; we recommend long socks, also to protect from ticks.Runners are responsible for choosing appropriate clothing for the weather. On sunny days, we recommend sunglasses or a cap; in rain, a light waterproof jacket.
Mandatory equipment must be carried from start to finish. Event staff may perform spot checks during registration and the race.
There is a public parking area near the event venue at Olarinniityntie 7, Espoo, with space for about 120 cars. Please note parking spots cannot be guaranteed as the area is also used by others.
We recommend using public transport. The nearest HSL bus stop is “Ylismäenristi,” served by lines 520, 133, 533.More detailed public transport info: routeinfo
The race center is located at Olari School, which offers changing rooms, showers, and toilets. There are also toilets near the start/finish. Please note that items cannot be left in changing rooms — separate bag storage is available.
At the race center, runners collect their bib numbers, safety pins, and event partner gifts. The bib must be visible during the race. It should be attached to the shirt or shorts on the front. Bib belts are allowed.
Starts are mass starts, with all participants beginning together. Exact timing may vary slightly depending on participant numbers. Timing is chip-based (net time).
The 15 km route has one aid station.The 32 km route has three aid stations, with the first and last being the same.

There is one toilet at the Malminmetsä aid station. Please note: no cups are provided — fill your own bottle or hydration pack. No single-use containers are available.
Trash bins are located at aid stations and the finish area. All waste must be disposed of there, including fruit peels.
Participants should carry their own food and drinks between aid stations.
Race support follows the “semi-autonomous” principle: outside assistance is allowed only at official aid stations. Personal support crew may assist there but not elsewhere.
Each participant receives a finisher medal. Photos can be taken in front of the event banner.

After the race, showers and changing facilities are available at Olari School. Stored items can be retrieved from the gear storage area.
We follow the Trails of Espoo event rules, based on the Trail Runner’s Code of Conduct, with the following additions:
Runners are responsible for knowing and following the rules before the race.
Littering is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification. This includes toilet paper and other waste. If you must relieve yourself, please do so off the trail and cover it properly.
The course runs near private property and cultivated land. Do not leave the marked trail.The route passes through public recreation areas and valuable nature zones; please respect nature and other trail users.

Participation fees are non-refundable. You may switch from the 32 km race to the 15 km race for free. Switching from the 15 km race to the 32 km race costs 20 €.
After May 30, no changes are possible.
